NRG are exclusively handling a Financial Controller vacancy for a large private business based in Alnwick, Northumberland. Competitive Salary and Pension.
The Client is seeking an experienced qualified (or qualified by experience) ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
The role will manage a team of 6 and an interesting and diverse portfolio of business entities.
Role Details
- Managing the financial accounting and financial analysis work for a diverse portfolio of entities (circa 50) within the larger business portfolio
- Managing a team of 6 management accountants and ledger clerks
- General accountancy remit including some VAT, Liaison with HMRC and Auditors
- Prep bank recs accounts management accounts
- Accounts include sole trader, trustee, limited partnership, company, accounts and some tax work
Ideal candidate
- Eye for detail, self starter, good manager with broad experience
- Multi-disciplinary experience and the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
- Broad experience of different environments
- Will potentially suits applicants from practice with experience of handling sole trader, trustee, limited partnership and company accounts
- Strong Excel skills essential.
