THE COMPANY:
Brewster Pratap are recruiting for a large, reputable business based in Sheffield. Close to the motorway they are easily accessible from Barnsley and Rotherham.
THE JOB:
Reporting to the Credit Manager, the main purpose of the role is to maintain the debt control. Duties will include:
- Responsible for monitoring a selection of customers.
- Credit control using phone, email & letter.
- Communicating with external & internal customers to chase debt and deal with any queries and to respond within a reasonable timescale.
- Maintaining customer records, any changes to contact details etc.
- Assessing new accounts - status reports
- Assessing credit limits monthly and daily when required.
- Blocked order release, (TP) usually one day a week.
- Re-imbursement invoicing.
- Manual invoicing and credits.
- Computer inputting of cash & bank statements when required.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Have a general good standard of education, including English & Maths.
- Have 1-2 years Credit Control experience, with some book keeping knowledge
- Be computer literate, particularly Microsoft Excel & Word
- Be a team player with the ability to work independently.
- Have good time management skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be flexible and self motivated.
