Accounts Payable Manager

Our client within the Business to Business sector requires an Accounts Payable Manager to manage the Accounts Payable team within a busy high transactional multi-currency environment.

Whilst managing a small team and reporting into the Financial Controller the Accounts Payable Finance Manager will be responsible for the following:

Day to management of small team including training and development of individuals, overseeing timely and accurate processing of invoices to ensure suppliers are paid within agreed timescales, ongoing systems development and improvements, supplier reconciliations, preparation of weekly AP analysis, ensuring payments are made as per contractual agreement with suppliers, management of balance sheet reconciliations for the accounts payables, regular liaison with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure query resolution, maintenance of payables timetable, preparation of periodic payments forecasting, interacting with the receivables team and supporting the annual audit process.

The ideal candidate will be a proven team leader with sound accounts payable experience within a fast moving, high volume multi-currency environment.

A good working level of Excel is required and prior exposure to Microsoft Dynamics/Navision would be highly desirable.
