Finance Manager

A marketing company based in Chester are recruiting for an interim Finance Manager. Due to a high demand of work and the need for someone to help out with the management and financial accounts as well as manage staff; they need someone to start as soon as possible.

To be successful as an interim Finance Manager with this Marketing Company you will need to have the following experience to carry out these responsbilities:

• Completion of monthly management accounts in line with company reporting deadlines.
• Completion/management of all balance sheet reconciliations ready for review with the Head of Finance.
• Liaison with Operational teams to ensure accuracy of month end results.
• Responsible for ensuring management accounts team maintain local compliance with VAT and other taxes
• Completion of quarterly VAT returns
• Team development, including role expansion and personal development of team members.
• Complete internal performance appraisal process for upto 3 direct reports.
• Primary contact for external auditors

For this interim Finance Manager role you need to be:

• Qualified either CIMA or ACA.
• Managing team of people of different levels of experience.
• Must have the confidence to liaise with all levels within the business.
• You need to have experience of working within a team environment and preparing and explaining financial information for financial and non financial managers.
• Experience of dealing with external auditors and preparing any required analyses.
