Interim Group Financial Accountant

The Opportunity

We’re currently working with a global, private equity backed education group based in Central London to recruit an interim Group Financial Accountant, for a 3 month period. The role will report to a highly regarded Group Financial Controller and will provide a pinnacle part in group statutory reporting.  Day rate is £350, negotiable both up and down dependent on experience.

The Role

More specifically as Group Financial Accountant you will be responsible for production of the group consolidated financial statements under IRFS, as well as leading all audit planning across the group. You will roll out the year end process across 4 continents, ensuring all region FD’s are aware of the information required, as well as setting clear, precise deadlines.

The Requirements

I’m looking to speak to Chartered Accountants who have trained with a BIG 4 firm, and have hands on exposure to producing consolidated financial statements under IFRS. Ideally you will have had exposure to a role in industry, however candidates coming straight out of practice will also be considered. You will be technically strong, IFRS and ideally UK GAAP, and be available to start in the role within a week.
