Group Reporting Manager

I am recruiting a great role within a leading auction business based in central London. This role looks after the US and UK entities and requires someone with a strong understanding of manual processes as they are going through a huge business transformation and are looking to implement a new finance and reporting system, however currently most of the reporting is done manually on Excel.

The business is going through a period of change and are planning numerous acquisitions in the coming months, so an ability to deal with a changing environment is a necessity.

Group Reporting Manager

Central London

£60,000 - £65,000

The role will include

• Preparation of group consolidated accounts across all UK and US entities
• Monitoring and reporting of working capital, cash forecasting and financial covenants
• Preparation of monthly board reporting pack - profit & loss, balance sheet and cashflow from complex
• excel files
• Ensure robust financial process controls are in place
• Liaise with finance colleagues to standardize, improve and automate processes
• Assist FPA manager with rolling forecasts for P&L, balance sheet and cashflow
• Monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
• Completion of VAT Returns
• Providing information for tax computations
• Liaising with auditors, tax specialists and financial stakeholders
• Key contact for accounting technical advice on impact of any acquisitions, disposals or operational
• process changes
• Advising on implications of any new financial reporting standards or VAT regulations

The ideal candidate would be an ACA/CA top10 qualified accountant with a strong background in group consolidation, and be looking to join a growing company within a very relaxed company based in central London.
