Assistant Accountant

A reputable not for profit organisation in Chorley are currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant who will be the number two in Finance and play a key part in the Finance Function. This opportunity offers flexibility on working hours and will suit an experienced Assistant Accountant who is keen to take ownership for the day to day running of the department. You will be working closely alongside an experienced Financial Director offering development and study support as required and your main responsibilities will include:
*Full management accounting responsibility
*Budgeting and forecasting activities
*Supporting and Liaising at all levels of the business
*Improvement of systems and processes, working closely with the Finance Director to ensure that continued growth is supported

To be considered for this role ideally you will be studying either CIMA or ACCA or have a view to enrol. You will have a commercial and analytical approach to support with decisions across the business involving both finance and non-finance colleagues. Strong excel skills are advantageous alongside good system skills.
