Financial Controller

Elevation Recruitment Group are looking for a commercially minded and proven Financial Controller for a well established Distribution Business in Chesterfield. They are looking to increase their turnover from £7 to £9 Million over the next 12-18 months and they now feel it is the right time to bring in a dedicated person to manage the finance function to help drive the business forward.

Reporting directly into the Managing Director you will oversee a team of 4 accounts staff and will be responsible for running the entire finance function.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

- Full production of Monthly Management Accounts for the business
- Producing any variance analysis and any related commentary
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation's
- Managing all aspects of transactional finance
- Driving financial process improvements
- Day to day management of accounting staff
- Budgeting and forecasting

To be considered for this role you MUST have the following:

- CIMA, ACCA OR ACA qualification
- 5+ years experience working up to Management Accounts level
- Previous experience with the logistics/ distribution sector would be highly advantageous
- Strong leader
