Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting an Interim Project Accountant for a large and well known international charity based in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join their growing finance team in the heart of London. The role will last for an initial period of three months on an interim basis, with the possibility of being extended.

As the Interim Project Accountant, you will be responsible for producing accurate donor reports and to work closely with project managers on the budget management process. You will be liaising with finance staff on a regular basis, complete financial reports, and act as the first point of call regarding finance issues within projects. You will also be responsible for producing quarterly accounts and assisting with audit. There will also be involvement in monthly reporting, forecast and analysis for various country directors.

The right person for this role will have previously worked internationally for a charity or have worked in the UK for an international charity. Candidates will be either qualified or close to qualification with either CIMA/ACCA/ACA and have had demonstrable experience of working with international and UK donors. It is essential that you have worked on projects and be comfortable dealing with working to different deadlines. The successful candidate will be an analytical, intelligent accountant who is looking to work in a hardworking, lively and extremely supportive finance team. You will have the ability and communication skills to build strong working relationships at all levels across the organisation and particularly with non - finance.
