A tweak in the finance structure has resulted in a new role as Finance Manager. Based out of their Leeds based office, the Finance Manager role is in effect the number one role in finance - it will report direct into the Head of HR with a dotted line to the CEO and will be expected to add commercial, strategic and operational value whilst providing the highest level of financial stewardship in a business that is set for more growth. An out-line of duties:

  • Day to day running of the finance team.
  • Full production of budgets, forecasts and financial reports for all locations including production of business plans.
  • Ensure regulatory and tax compliance.
  • Produce group wide management accounts with full financial analysis and commentary.
  • To play the lead role in commercial finance support for contracts, bids and tenders.
  • Produce MI/KPI's and commercial insight for board level review
  • Partner with external stakeholders including auditors, banks and where appropriate external customers
  • Financial management and control including working capital, treasury management and cashflow, director's payroll and contributing to the business's annual strategy

The successful candidate will require the following:

  • Fully qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA
  • Experience of managing a team.
  • Exposure to working at financial controller, company accountant or finance manager level in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience/Interest in getting involved in the commercial / business partner elements of the role as well as the day to day BAU finance duties
  • Service sector exposure is desirable.
