Vendor Master Lead Analyst

Global US Orgnisation urgently requires a SSC Vendor Master Lead Analyst to join the team on a temporary assignment.  The SSC Vendor Master Lead Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Manager to successfully deliver the converting of all Purchase Order Requisitions to Purchase Orders for EMEA within the SSC; to set up all new vendors and process vendor changes for the EMEA region within the SOX framework and ensure all invoices are provided to the Processing team within the timeframes set by the SLA.

Tasks that are specific to the role include: training, testing, documentation for the team and all stakeholders is present, root cause analysis of issues and communication of fixes and ongoing solutions where appropriate.  This role is also responsible for testing / impact assessing all change requests that result in UAT.  Finally, this role will also be responsible for assessing the vendor master for proactive mass data changes to prevent issues in the P2P process that prevent payment being made on time.

Duties of the SSC Vendor Master Lead Analyst include:

• Assessing the vendor master content at a regional level for proactive mass data corrections
• Identifying process / control weaknesses / inefficiencies and proposing solutions to the Purchasing and Vendor Master Manager
• Impact assessing proposed change to processes and systems
• Testing any changes to Oracle systems or processes
• Creation and maintenance of Purchasing & Vendor Master Administration documentation
• Supporting iProc users with issue definition and resolution
• Impact assessment of queries/complaints identified by in country teams and communicating assessment
• Providing KPI data (and comments where applicable) weekly and monthly
• Training / coaching for team members and stakeholders as defined by Manager
• Standing in for the Manager as and when agreed
• Be an expert in iProc
• Able to triage a vendor master record for issues that prevent payment
• Defining and documenting Policy/Processes as required

  This is a dynamic, fast paced environment therefore the SSC Vendor Master Lead Analyst requires excellent organistaional skills, strong communicator and excellent attention to detail.  This role has three direct reports so previous management experience is advantageous.
