Associate Director

Due to the relocation of the commercial finance team to the UK an exciting new role exists to take responsibility for corporate and reporting analysis. You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).

About the Role

You will partner with Senior Management to develop and execute forecasts and models predominantly focused on P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements that will influence long term strategic plans. You will have creativity in applying analytical frameworks and business modelling including collaborations, M&A and other transactions.

• Owner of Long Range Financial Model  
• Routinely interface with Executive level management including CEO and CFO forming a strong partnership with Finance, Business Development, Strategic Marketing, and Commercial leadership to understand, key financial terms and trends, sensitivities, and forecasting implications
• Maintains alignment with Global FP&A team forecasting efforts and works closely with Business Leadership and related Finance functions including Regional FP&A, Treasury, Consolidation, and Tax functions
• Links with and leverages data and insights from Strategic Plans, Annual Budgets, Forecasts, Actual Results to ensure Long Range Model remains current and insightful
• Organise, communicate and present strong, cogent business scenarios and their impacts on the Company’s Financial Statements to all levels of management.
• Leverage his/her proven level of financial expertise, seasoned business perspective, a partnering and service oriented style, and effective communications skills to foster successful outcomes.

About You

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant PQE ideally gained in the medical device or healthcare sectors. You should possess strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to gain credibility, buy in and influence as necessary. Results orientated you should have a proven commercial track record mixed with solid technical accounting and financial modelling skills. Experience of mergers and acquisitions an advantage.
