The successful Financial Planning and Analysis manager will be working closely with finance colleagues and support the Head of Reporting to provide stakeholders with data, analysis and recommendations to help realise the business’s strategic goals.

Whilst there is an element of ‘hands on’ consolidation work in this role, the successful Financial Planning and Analysis Manager candidate will also be expected to provide detailed analysis, using their skills and contacts within the business to really understand our trading performance, highlighting key issues to senior management and adding value to the reporting process.

A typical week would include:

  • Manage and co-ordinating the budgeting and forecasting process, liaising with senior management, finance colleagues and key stakeholders to deliver robust financial plans across our business streams and central functions
  • Liaise with IT and key stakeholders to develop reporting tools and processes, driving continual improvement in line with our FP&A/Reporting strategy
  • Responsible for the delivery of UK Region monthly and quarterly reporting to Canadian based Group Finance
  • Be a ‘go-to’ contact for accurate and relevant financial data, providing ad-hoc information and reports to senior management and other internal customers

  • Strong commercial awareness, able to appraise and clearly articulate commercial performance
  • Strong inter-personal and written and verbal communication skills – able to clearly articulate ideas and engage with colleagues across the business
  • Can do attitude - motivated to get the job done and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Highly analytical approach with an eye for detail
  • Strong Excel, Powerpoint and financial modelling skills
  • ACA or equivalent with post qualified experience and able to demonstrate experience within Financial Planninv & Analysis
