Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join an exciting Hospitality company experiencing huge growth based in Gloucester. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:

About Our Client
A rapidly growing Hospitality company who have increased their turnover dramatically over the last 6 years due to winning a number of high profile contracts amongst others. The Finance Business Partner will report directly into the Managing Director of the business to head up a team of 2 and look to improve profitability through meaningful analysis and spotting areas of opportunity to increase growth further.
Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Actively influence day to day decisions, shaping strategy and the direction of the business
- Act as an interface or 'translator' between finance and the wider divisions
- Interpret data, order and assess its value and present findings to the Director and Commercial Manager in a clear and concise way
- Draw on 'big' and 'small' data, selecting the appropriate tools to manipulate, analyse and interpret it in sophisticated, audience appropriate ways
- Form and stand over your own opinions, have a well-developed sense of ethics and be prepared to stand by these principles
- Challenge, coach and motivate the Director, Commercial manager and senior management within the division
- Assess current processes, identifying improvements required and develop/build new where necessary to improve efficiencies
- Regularly liaise with the Head Office Finance team to establish a collaborative method of working and ensure joined-up thinking
- Analyse and deliver insight that links financial reports to business objectives
- Provide effective commercial procedures, or initiate change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
- Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams
- Play a key role in the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the division
- Any other duties as requested to fulfil the needs of the business
Person specification:
- Part/Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or qualified by experience
- Experience of managing relationships and being able to impact and influence senior non- financial management
- Experience of performing detailed financial performance analysis, with high standards, accuracy and presentation
- Proactive problem solver with the ability to analyse complex data and see trends and patterns in the results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to express financial information to non-financial colleagues
- Mixture of analytical, commercial and persuasion skills
- Organised thought process with strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and ability to manipulate data from other sources for presentation to managers
- Excellent planning and time management skills with ability to meet exacting deadlines
