Finance Director

Based in central London ,my client is a privately owned investment manager focusing  in  property investment with assets under management of £1bn. This will grow to around £3-4bn over the next decade.

The CFO will be  responsible  for 

• Transaction support including the management of financial and tax aspects of live deals.
• Attend and input into the board meetings of the company: which includes presenting the financial results; taking responsibility for the financial budget; and performing analysis / initiatives for the board.
• Execution of best practice Corporate Governance
• Act as a director on a number of investment company boards.
• Managing the Partners tax returns, which encompasses UK and US tax compliance aspects and involves external parties, which you have the responsibility for managing.
• Develop   an improved cash flow model for the financial management of the business (including ongoing monitoring/maintenance). 
• Managing distributions to and capital calls from the Partners.
• Manage  outsourced accountancy service providers to receive accurate and timely management accounts. 
• Co-ordination of all audits within the fund manager structure. 
• Develop  and implement  an improved investor request management system. 
• Input into Fund accounting as required, for example.
• Management of the executive incentive programme.
• Special projects:
• Leading the AIFMD project and executing the strategy; 
• Leading the FATCA compliance project;
• Leading the London accountancy service provider tender process; 
• Development of a debt and treasury (cash) reporting system;
• Refinancing of a UK asset with development finance; 
• Prepared the annual investor market and Fund  presentation
• Restructure of  UK unit trusts in response to changes in the tax laws.
