Credit Officer

Brilliant Credit Officer Job based in York.

Your new company
Hays Accountancy and Finance are currently recruiting for a Credit Officer to join a financial services organisation based in York. Due to growth within the business they are looking for two Credit Officers to join their rapidly expanding team.


Your new role
Within this role you will using online credit agencies to obtain company information. Duties could include daily generation of credit reports using in house databases and Excel. You will be working closely with the sales team. Your key responsibility will be monitoring and maintaining credit levels for new customers. You will be gathering information and processing new business applications. Experience of credit risk would be beneficial but is not essential.



What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need an excellent telephone manner, you will have a positive, decisive nature and the ability to prioritise work load. This role would suit a candidate with experience of working within financial services, lending, fraud, banking or insurance however this is not essential.
