Management Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a privately owned distribution/manufacturing business based in Preston who are looking to expand their product range and need a solid Management Accountant who can produce the full reporting pack at month end for the Senior Management team.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for:

• Completion of monthly management accounts with supporting commentary
• Monitor the monthly accruals and prepayments
• Produce accountable analysis of both the sales and margin figures.
• Manage the stock control process and monitor movements
• Complete the VAT returns
• Assist with the annual budget/forecasting

The role would suit a candidate who is nearly or newly qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) and looking to develop their monthly reporting exposure and commercial analysis experience within a reputable organisation. Ideally you will have a good level of Excel knowledge and some exposure to SAGE accounting packages.
