Interim Group Finance Analyst

Frazer John Recruitment, Finance practice is currently supporting a private equity backed organisation in Cheshire who are about to embark on a large acquisition.
 
As such they will are looking to bolster their finance team with an Interim Group Finance Analyst to take the support the technical aspects of a complex integration.
 
This is newly created role within an established business and will require the successful candidate to have demonstrable experience within a similar position and the technical capability to drive the project forward. 

As Interim Group Finance Analyst you will
 

• Support the production of 2017 group accounts and subsequent presentation to the audit committee encompassing all corporate activity for the year
• Support the full balance sheet reviews of group companies across the UK & EU
• Highlight risk areas and advise on control frameworks to mitigate those risks
• Fair value accounting 
• Perform acquisition accounting entries
• Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes to ensure harmonisation including training to existing teams
• Liaise with internal and external audit teams
• Support the review of capital structures
• Ensure rigorously high standards are adopted across group companies in practice
• Support with complex group consolidations 
• Ad hoc tasks as required

To be successful in this role you will have experience operating within a large group function. An ACA or ACCA qualification gained from a practice background is highly desirable.
 
This role requires extensive travel (up to 50% of the role) to sites across the UK and Europe, please bear this in mind before submitting your application.
