Our client, a growing and fast paced Services business based in Southampton, is looking to recruit a Cost Accountant on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for managing all accounting entries and maintaining all financial records relating to operational and overhead costs for the Groups UK entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the collection, recording and integrity of all data to determine the costs of business activity
- Ensure that all business costs and related balance sheet accounts are accurate and complete to facilitate a timely month-end close
- Involvement in ad-hoc financial and commercial projects.
- Working with the Regional Finance team, F, P & A and Finance Business Partners in providing insightful monthly and quarterly reporting.
You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and possess strong technical accounting knowledge with US GAAP experience beneficial. You will be a good communicator with the ability to influence key internal stakeholders. It is also preferred to have previous experience in a Cost Accounting capacity and have strong working knowledge of Excel.
