Finance Projects Manager

Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Finance - Projects Manager (6 months)

The Company: is the market leader and is instantly recognisable by their brands. Distribution and operations reach as far as Japan, China, USA and mainland Europe. Established some 20 years ago this exciting company recently merged with a competitor to become the worlds largest company in their field.

The Role will report into and assist the Group FC with a number of compliance and regulatory Projects. Adding real value across the business by recommending and initiating best practice controls and procedures to ensure compliance is adhered to group requirement and achieved in a smooth and seamless manner. Liaising and guiding internal management and external business advisers - Preparation of Statutory accounts, Forecasting analysis, liaising with Belgium/French/Swiss statutory accountants to ensure fiscal obligations are met. Data mining and profit analysis. Audit reviews, VAT returns, Intrastats, pricing reviews.


The Person: will be a qualified Finance professional ACCA/ACA with significant project management experience. Preferably with a corporate/manufacturing multi brand background comfortable identifying and recommending improvements to the business operations.
Must be able to hit the ground running, communicating complex information to non finance management and external business advisors Working in a small H/O environment with solid experience in financial reporting, compliance and regulatory requirements, improvement of processes and procedures. Positive can-do attitude, ability to understand complex issues and offer practical solutions. SAP /excel skills useful
