My client, based on the outskirts of Maidstone, is looking to recruit a Group Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. There is potential for this role to develop further as the candidate progresses through their career.
Working closely with the Group Reporting Accountant you will support the integration of new divisions, complete Group consolidations, assist with statutory reporting in addition to:
• Oversee subsidiary accounting
• Heavily involved with budgeting process
• Year-end reporting and Auditor exposure
• Understanding and reconciling UK vs US Ledger
• Ownership of Group balance sheet
• Must be able to use initiative, hit the the ground running and operate with minimal support
• Supervision of one trainee accountant
You must be full or part way through either ACCA or CIMA, possess Intermediate Excel - if arguments, lookups, pivot tables and have exposure to Head Office accounts and/or Group accounts.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong accounting background to join a rapidly expanding organisation.
