Immediate start, Finance Manager, based in Cambridge, £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join a large established organisation based in Cambridge.
This position will play a pivotal role within the development and progression of the finance team with a view to establishing a more proactive approach in finance management. This position will require the successful applicant to be able to operate in a fluid environment where competing demands for various stakeholders both internally and externally will need to be prioritised and dealt with accordingly. In addition you will be required to focus on the following areas:
• Accurate cashflow and cash management
• Drafting of financial statements for reporting to IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP standards
• Creating, managing and reporting departmental and business unit budgets
• Establish robust processes and controls in line with wider group policy
• Coach and develop existing team in order to drive process improvements
• Liaise with various stakeholders across the business units to ensure finance is providing the information and clarity required to form the base of crucial business decisions.
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:
• CCAB Qualified accountant or possess demonstrable experience
• Experience of dealing with complex financial accounts
• Ability to prioritise competing needs within the business and be able to manage expectations of stakeholders
• Have a mentoring approach to leadership in order to further develop an existing team.
