Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a leading Barnsley based manufacturing business as they seek to appoint a UK Finance Manager. This position will report directly in to the Finance Director and through the management of a team of accountants, will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of the financial information for the UK business.

Part of a larger international group, this successful and growing manufacturing company has developed a strong market presence over the last few years and is looking to continue to strengthen its finance function with the recruitment of this UK Finance Manager position. With a focus on developing the finance team, reviewing the internal controls and implementing improved processes this varied role will include the below key responsibilities:

- Management of the month end process - ensuring all UK sites are completed and submitted within a 4 day turnaround
- VAT, Intrastat and EC Sales compliance
- Cashflow forecasting and reporting
- Ownership and management of the UK external audit
- Creation and presentation of the statutory accounts for all UK sites
- Mentoring and challenging a team of accountants (including qualified and part qualified)
