Management Accountant

Reed Finance continue to support a successful distributor who are considered a market leader, providing high level products and service within a competitive market.

Reporting into the Financial Director our client is seeking a qualified (ACCA/ACA) Management Accountant to provide both technical and commercial finance & accounting support to all areas of the business.

Commercially, you will provide senior support in the production of monthly management accounts and complete the monthly board pack analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Reporting monthly cost variances against budget
• Preparing P&L schedules on a rolling basis for audit and year end reporting
• Preparation and submission of company month end packs
• Responsible for external auditors, planning, managing & preparing statutory accountants
• Business Partner supply chain and support

The preferred candidate will combine technical and commercial accounting, ideally qualified in practice with further industry experience. This is a part time position, 3 full days a week or alternatively 4 shorter days with priority to cover month and year end.
