Audit Executive

An excellent opportunity for an Audit Executive has opened. Reed Finance have partnered with an established and well respected accountancy practice firm based in Colchester and Ipswich. This is a highly successful and rapidly expanding practice with service of the highest standard.

Offering a competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000 this firm is seeking an ambitious individual to undertake and supervise audit and accounts assignment as directed and manage client relationships to ensure the service delivered is second to none.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

* Delivery of complete audit files including for the audit of limited companies, charities, education and other not-for-profit sector clients.
* Carrying out work under Solicitors' Regulation Authority Rules and other regulatory reporting.
* Ability to complete jobs in allocated time frames from the initial planning through to finalisation.
* Attending meetings with client senior staff during the pre-planning and audit clearance stage, taking notes and implementing agreed actions.
* Taking a pro-active role in the supervision, training and development of trainee and assistant staff within the department, providing technical support where needed.
* Assistance in tax compliance work for clients e.g. preparation of Tax Returns, VAT returns.

Experience Needed:

* You will be ACCA or ACA qualified
* Excellent up to date technical knowledge and skills in the audit field
* Experience with paperless audit systems e.g. Caseware
* You will be confident in dealing with staff at a senior level with excellent communication and be interactive with all colleagues across the group and wider business
* Competent in use of other computer software programs including MS Word, MS Excel, email
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
