TAX MANAGER

An excellent opportunity for a Tax Manager has opened. Reed Finance have partnered with an established and well respected accountancy practice firm based in Colchester, Essex. This is a highly successful and rapidly expanding practice with service of the highest standard.

Offering a competitive salary of £40,000 to £60,000 this firm is seeking an ambitious individual to demonstrate a depth of technical knowledge in own service area and apply this knowledge to develop solutions to complex technical issues.
The individual will be a natural team leader providing support in the complex and demanding assignments on a day to day basis and actively pursue business develop opportunities.

You,the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

* Managing your own client portfolio
* Monitoring and recording staff performance
* Providing advice on capital gains, inheritance tax and VAT advice
* Report letter drafting for clients tax, covering any tax
* Assisting the management of work in the department
* PAYE compliance reviews and PAYE settlement agreements
* VAT investigation
* CCH Personal Tax software and FT interactive updates
* Drafting technical presentations to be given by the partners
* Drafting Infobytes
* Construction Industry
* Billing and WIP management

Experience Needed:

* You will be ATT or CTA qualified
* Proven tax advisory experience - ideally in practice
* Understanding of how to use tax software: CCH Personal, Digita Corporate -although training will be given
* You will have experience in a client facing role
* You will be confident in dealing with staff at a senior level with excellent communication and be interactive with all colleagues across the group and wider business
