AUDIT/ACCOUNTS SENIOR

Reed Finance have partnered with accountancy firm looking to recruit an ambitious and focused Audit & Accounts Senior to join their dynamic team. Based in Billericay you will play an important role within a busy Audit & Accounts team, delivering compliance services and other advice to clients.

Offering a competitive salary of £35,000 to £45,000 this firm is seeking and ambitious individual who is ACA or ACCA qualified accountant, with strong audit exposure. You will need up to date financial reporting knowledge and a good commercial focus to be successful in this role.

Duties will include

- Leading a team on client premises audit assignments
- Preparation of notes on client systems and controls
- Contributing and participating in planning and executing audit assignments
- Preparation of appropriate reports and letters for the client and, where relevant, parent companies and their auditors
- Taking responsibility for a client portfolio involving year-end accounts preparation
- management accounting and preparation of VAT returns.
- Supervising and training junior members of staff

This role would suit candidates who have previously worked within the Accountancy Practice sector.
