Commercial Finance Analyst

Working alongside the Senior Leadership team (CFO, Commercial Director), the Commercial Finance Analyst will provide wide-ranging commercially-focused analysis and business support. You will be working across a number of ongoing projects which will involve liaising with and influencing senior stakeholders across the Group. Working as part of a Commercial Finance team your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with Budgeting, Forecasting and ongoing performance analysis of various projects
• Creating and enhancing KPIs across several business units to ensure consistency of performance across the wider Group.
• Work closely with the CFO and Leadership team to assess and measure new projects or initiatives and rigorously 'stress-test' from a commercial finance perspective
• Provide commercial finance and modelling/pricing support in support of Bids and Project Tenders
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and finance support to other teams as and when required

This is a newly created role in a large and complex business. The successful Candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who has qualified either In-House or within a Practice environment and is now seeking a role with stronger commercial focus. You will need to demonstrate strong commercial finance acumen and ideally have had exposure to working with Project Finance matters, M&A, Bids or Project support. You will work with senior Management and Leaders across the business and will therefore need strong communication skills and a delivery-focused approached.
