Accountant

My client is an established and highly successful business, working across the UK.  They are  currently looking to source a qualified Accountant straight from practice. The successful candidate will be looking to make their first move in to industry, and will be newly qualified or have gained circa 1 year PQE in practice. Main duties:

-Responsible for preparing monthly management accounts
-Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations in line
-Providing information for tax purposes to external advisors and reviewing tax computations
-Cost analysis and reporting over various group subsidiaries
-Review of budgets prepared by the Finance Business Partners
-Prepare and submit VAT, NI and other government returns
-Posting of journals and preparation of associated monthly balance sheet reconciliations
-Cost centre accounting to include any relevant accruals and prepayments
-Prepare monthly reporting for the board pack
-Ad hoc project work

The successful candidate must be a graduate calibre, qualified ACCA/ACA Accountant with a passion to move in to a fast paced industry role with strong future potential.
