Newly Qualified Group Accountant
c£40-48k + 10% Bonus + Excellent Benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Newly Qualified ACA from a medium sized practice looking for their first step into industry. Our client, a UK leader within their industry are looking to source a bright and highly ambitious Newly Qualified Group Accountant to join their growing Finance team.
Sitting within the group function of a rapidly growing, private equity backed £600 million t/o company, working closely with the senior management team will provide the opportunity to influence decisions and add immediate value. This highly visible role reports into a dynamic Group Financial Controller and offers great exposure to the CFO and other board members. The role offers great exposure to high level finance including M&A and corporate finance as well as developing their key overall finance skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academics and a minimum 2:1 degree from a top university. To be considered you will be newly qualified (ACA/ACCA) and ideally from a top 30 firm where you've prepared financial statements/ statutory accounts and had exposure to group consolidation.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end audit
-Production of Financial Accounts
-Assist with consolidation of group month-end accounts
-Hands-on support of the business's external auditors, offering recommendations where appropriate
-Assisting on all Group corporate tax matters including computations
-Assisting on all Group corporate treasury matters, in particular management of cashflows, interest and capital payments, loans, and financial derivatives.
-Assisting with the preparation for the Monthly Board Report, including reconciliations of working capital and cash conversion
-Preparing ad-hoc presentations and analysis for the CEO, CFO and senior management team
What we are looking for:
-Strong academic background excellent degree (2:1 minimum)
-Finalist or Newly qualified (ACA/ACCA)
-Strong excel skills (vlookups and pivot tables as a minimum)
-Knowledge of statutory reporting and audit and consolidation experience
-Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
