Head of Finance - Insurance
Client is a leading general insurance business, is looking to hire a Head of Finance. Reporting directly into the Finance Director, this is an incredibly broad position which will primarily be responsible for the day to day running of the finance function whilst supporting the FD strategically.
Key accountabilities will include:
* Managing a team of 6, and growing/developing this team
* Reviewing current processes and putting into place any changes
* Responsible for the annual production of the Group's Report and accounts
* Production and reporting of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting
* Monthly production and reporting of project tracking
* Responsible for all elements of operational and transactional finance
Key requirements include:
* Minimum 5 years' post qualification experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Insurance industry experience essential
* Good stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience of building and developing high performing teams desirable
