Head of Finance

A well respected charity is recruiting for a Head of Finance to join their busy team and play a key role in the support of the Director of Corporate Services and the organisation in developing its strategies over the coming years.

This newly created role reports directly into the Director of Corporate Services, but will work across the organisation to make the continued growth of this charity possible. Key responsibilities include:

*Develop and manage financial controls and systems within the Finance department and across the organisation ensuring they are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
*Business partner with the directorates and budget holders to ensure the most relevant financial information is delivered while giving them guidance.
*Responsible for ensuring the financial element of the annual business planning process is robust and meets the needs of the business.
*Lead financial operations and direct the financial planning and structures, coordinate, analyse and report financial performance to management.

This is an ideal role for someone with substantial post-qualification experience who is still looking for progression opportunity and the chance to be part of an organisation that going through change. The Head of Finance will be a fully qualified accountant who is able to demonstrate the capabilities required to execute the role, and manage an effective team so previous management experience is a must. You will have excellent communication skills and be technically minded, with the ability to influence and manage a variety of stakeholders.
