Finance Director

Director of Commercial and Operational Finance sought for a privately owned, International FMCG company based in East London. This is an enormously influential position that will give the successful candidate the opportunity to drive the overall business's performance through the P&L and a clear progression path to the European CFO position in the medium term. This role includes:

• Provide insight, support and leadership to all executive level decision based on thorough and robust analysis
• Ownership of all commercial and factory finance teams, leading them to add value to their requisite business partners through analysis and challenge
• Leading the commercial forecasting and budgeting process
• Using new technology and data to propose and drive new initiatives that will add value to the business
• Ownership of a range of ad-hoc projects
• Preparing, assessing and challenging business cases

In summary be a genuine business partner to all members of the division's executive team.

You will be a Big 4 trained chartered accountant with strong academics and a track record of delivery through business partnering with commercial functions. You will have progressed quickly through your career and will be highly driven and capable. You will need to have management experience, and a background in FMCG/manufacturing would also be preferable but not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious commercial finance professional to take the next step up in their career and drive real value.

Unlike most businesses you will be given real autonomy to make and implement decisions at the highest level and be rewarded in the medium term with a move into the regional CFO role.
