Finance Director

Director of Accounting and Reporting sought for a privately owned, International FMCG company based in East London. This is a key position within the finance leadership team, and will be responsible not just for ensuring accurate and reliable reporting of the number but also for adding value through them, using your business acumen to tell the story of the business's performance. This role includes:

• Owning the preparation of monthly and quarterly internal and external reports report
• preparing the statutory accounts,
• Running the audit process under US GAAP for the EU region, liaising with the auditors and in coordination with the head office
• Review the P&L, balance sheet and cost position on a subsidiary by subsidiary basis
• Own and direct the budgeting and forecasting process for the region
• Take the lead in developing and building processes and controls to ensure rigour, speed and accuracy.
• Lead and develop of team of qualified finance professionals

You will be a Big 4 trained chartered accountant with strong academics and a track record of delivery in either senior positions within practice or in controllership positions in industry. You will have progressed quickly through your career and will be highly driven and capable. You will need to have management experience, and experience in reporting under US GAAP in an international environment would be very beneficial.
