FP&A Analyst

This large organisation which continues to grow through acquisition and is a national leader in its field is looking to appoint a qualified accountant into the role of FP&A Analyst/Commercial Analyst, who is attracted to a fast paced and commercial role, where the financial analysis they provide will have a direct impact on profitability.

Working closely with the FP&A Manager you will produce financial budgets, forecasts and flash reports on site performance, testing and revising assumptions on excel and modelling scenarios (P&L, balance sheet etc.). Business partnering senior management you will also develop KPI’s for cost centres, analysing trends and variances, benchmarking performance and working collaboratively to change behaviours that improve profitability. The role will offer the opportunity to get involved in board level reporting and you will be expected to be a pro-active contributor to ideas and projects that will improve the efficiency of the finance department and help them add value across the business.

Successful applicants must finalist or newly qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA), driven to succeed and possess the tenacity to challenge sales and operations managers with data developed through financial modelling and findings. You must also be excited by the prospect of working in commercial environment, where there is a correlation between your performance and progression.
