Qualified Accountant

Qualified Accountant sought to join leading top 10 national firm of accountants and business advisors in their special projects team.

A unique service offering, the Special Projects department undertakes a wide variety of accounting and related advisory projects for key clients of this top 10 business. These projects are arranged on a bespoke basis and are therefore incredibly varied, ranging from helping clients manage a period of rapid change to troubleshooting complex accountancy issues across large businesses. This is excellent role if you are looking to broaden your experience and really value diversity in your day to day job.

Duties will cover a wide variety of accounting, structuring, planning and advisory tasks, with examples of projects including:

*Interim financial management
*Group restructuring
*Management accounts report design and production
*Scenario / financial modelling
*Budgeting and forecasting
*Reviewing and improving internal controls
*Major internal system and process reviews

Due to the varied nature of this role, you will likely be a commercially-aware Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA) with good knowledge of statutory accounts production who enjoys problem solving and dealing directly with clients. A mixed practice and industry background is an advantage, though this position is open to candidates from both sectors provided they are up to date with UK accounting regulations and of high technical ability.
