Assistant Accountant - Part Qualified

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap are recruiting an experienced part qualified Assistant Accountant for an expanding, independent market leader based in Chesterfield. Close to the motorway they are commutable from Sheffield, Worksop and Rotherham.

THE JOB:

Reporting to the Finance Manager duties will include:

Maintaining the purchase ledger
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
Margin analysis
Balance sheet reconciliations
Preparing board report packs
Other ad hoc duties as required

THE PERSON:

You will currently be studying towards a professional qualification CIMA / ACA / ACCA
Previous experience within a fast paced environment is essential
You must be self motivated with a strong commercial awareness
Excellent communication skills are required
You must have working knowledge of Excel including use of Pivot tables
