Financial Controller

Our client is a growing, international organisation that works with a broad selection of leading FTSE 100 businesses. They have recently been backed by private equity investors and are positioning themselves for rapid expansion. As such, they now require a new Financial Controller to work alongside the newly appointed Finance Director and take ownership of day-to-day financial reporting, systems, processes and controls.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and overseeing management accounts for 2 UK subsidiaries and 1 US subsidiary
• Preparation of Group consolidation
• Managing group cash flows including forecasting & modelling
• Preparation of monthly board packs
• Data analysis of revenue streams and costs
• Accounting for transition from a private business to a carved out PE backed business
• Preparation monthly management accounts and consolidation of group accounts
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of the financial data of the ledgers
• Set-up and managing of cash-flows for international businesses including 3-month forecasts
• Financial Planning and analysis, commentary and variance analysis
• Actual and forecast bank covenant reporting
• Review and analysis of intercompany accounting
• VAT reporting
• Oversee audit process
• Other ad-hoc reporting

This is a hands-on role in a highly entrepreneurial business. Applicants should be fully qualified with previous experience of working in both a corporate organisation and a fast-paced SME. They will be comfortable managing multiple projects concurrently whilst constantly striving to deliver a first class finance structure, complete with ‘best in class’ systems and processes.
