Sun Systems Accountant - £40,000-£50,000 + Bonus + Benefits - Woking, Surrey


Your new company
You will be working for a rapidly expanding business in central Woking, that has a vision for continued growth and development. You will be situated in modern bright offices, with multiple areas for socialising and building office culture.

Your new role
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller and working closely with the entire finance team, you will be taking charge of all areas of the finance and operational systems. This is a broad role and will include everything from ensuring data integrity of the numbers in the accounting system to reporting, implementation of new accounting systems, improvement and efficiency savings to training and mentoring the accounts staff on best practice. You will take full all round ownership of the day to day functioning of the systems.

What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your finance background, you should have strong experience in managing accounting systems (SUN exposure would be highly advantageous) and be comfortable in all aspects for data integrity to reporting and training/supporting the finance team. You should be confident working in a fast paced environment and taking responsibility for all areas of the finance system and taking a proactive "continuous improvement" attitude. Whilst not essential, working towards a recognised finance qualification would be highly advantageous.
