Management Accountant

The Business

Sellick Partnership are currently representing a well-established manufacturing business in South Manchester in their search for an ambitious Management Accountant to join their talented Finance team.

The Role

This permanent role is an opportunity to join a progressive company and could offer the right candidate fantastic career progression within the growing business. The candidate will be responsible for managing the company`s management accounts and advising directors on financial implications of the business decisions to encourage the profit and growth of the company.

Specific role duties include

• You will be responsible for the financial reporting at month end/ year end
• Preparation, review and approval of monthly management accounts including actual, budgets and forecasts
• Meet regularly with budget holders to ensure accurate financial reporting and provide analysis to support business decisions
• Complete accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Completion of profit and loss
• Responsible for product costing and variance analysis

The Candidate

Candidates wishing to apply for the role will ideally have full management accounting experience within the manufacturing industry. You will be studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), have strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with both finance and non- finance colleagues.
