A globally recognised aviation business are looking for a highly commercial and numerate individual that will be responsible for aeronautical pricing, leading consultations on charges structure as well as all ORC consultations, covering an income of 2bn.

 

Role responsibilities:

Responsible for driving the analysis of aeronautical pricing & underpinning yield improvement. Taking control of the agenda and team, ensuring multiple departments are aligned.

Driving the delivery of income, team collaboration and leading customer interactions through formal governance (understanding performance, setting prices across 20+ services) and relationship building

Contribute toward pricing strategies, protecting the company's position operating to a short and long term horizon

Responsible for working across internal departments in order to understand the past & future costs, leading the customer consultation on procurement initiatives and planning ahead on change engagement

Commercial representative on projects that affect the portfolio, deputising for the project lead

Responsible for communicating plans including writing the annual notice on prices, representing the business at the exec and chairing consultation meetings with senior airline representation

Skills required:

- Skilled negotiator with an ability to operate on specific tasks with a wider political context in mind

- Highly numerate and able to simply articulate the "story behind the numbers" and highly commercial

- Tenacious with an ability to both understand internal performance and motivate others to improve it

- Comfortable operating in a high profile role with a high degree of autonomy
