Financial Accountant (PQ)

PQ Financial Accountant job opportunity for a fast growing tech business in central London. up to £40k + bonus

With 6 in finance they are looking for a passionate, talented and hardworking part qualified accountant to join the team.

Your new role
You will be working as the Financial Accountant of the business, reporting in to and acting as the number 2 to the Finance Manager. You will also have 4 Finance Assistants working beneath you. You work will be focused on the monthly and quarterly financial close process for 4 entities plus you will also get involved in more financial planning and analysis duties as you settle in to the role. Duties will include:

• Meeting monthly accounting deadlines and all journal entries
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts and researching discrepancies
• Assisting with preparation of management reporting packages
• VAT returns and EC Sales
• Foreign exchange work
• Supporting junior staff members
• Supporting external auditors and responding to audit related inquiries
• Completing ad-hoc projects

What you'll need to succeed
You must have 2+ years experience in a similar role and have experience working with multiple currencies. Ideally you will have dealt with multi-entity accounting and be highly proficient on Excel. It is a bonus if you are a graduate and ACCA part-qualified/finalist.
