iMPART Recruitment Ltd are recruiting a Finance Manager for the European headquarters of a fast-growing hi-tech telecoms software business. Their technology allows users to make the most of their telecoms infrastructure with price-sensitive, fully scalable and efficient solutions that take advantage of both cloud based and traditional methods.
They now wish to in-source the bulk of their European finance operations and hence need to recruit a high calibre Finance Manager to help them do this. Reporting to the EMEA Financial Controller your duties will include:
· Preparation of monthly management accounts for UK operating company (this includes operations in Spain, Belgium, Italy & France)
· Review monthly packs produced by local accountants in 3 other countries.
· Devise & implement a set of KPIs to support better, faster decision making.
· Maintain, improve and implement a more robust suite of internal controls.
· Develop reporting; introduce budgeting, forecasting & planning processes.
· Drive various projects (e.g. implementation of SAP and other systems).
The ideal candidate for the post of Finance Manager will be a qualified accountant (finalists may be considered) who has either trained within a small / medium sized practice or who has worked within an SME that ideally has operations in more than just the UK. Candidates must be prepared to be hands-on in approach and will need to set up some processes from scratch; strong communication skills will also be key as these need to be rolled out across their European operations. Finally, attention to detail, strong Excel skills and an awareness of the merits of solid controls are all key attributes that all candidates must possess.
