Commercial Director

Butler Rose is pleased to be supporting a growing organisation within the healthcare sector and form part of a PE backed entrepreneurial group with the recruitment of a Commercial Director.

The Commercial Director will report into a Managing Director and together will be focussed on driving the organisation forward strategically keeping abreast of trends, monitoring commercial performance of existing accounts to identify revenue and profitability growth opportunities.

Key duties will include:

- Management of pricing strategy for new contracts to balance competitiveness with profitability

- Measurement and reporting of commercial performance of accounts

- Identifying opportunities to increase profitability of existing accounts by reducing spend, investigating sales, risk evaluation, pricing parameters

- Business modelling and mid-long term forecasting based upon analysis

- Working closely with internal implementation, Operations & Sales Directors to ensure solutions remain commercially viable through regular assessment of pricing and costs

- Financial & commercial performance reporting providing MI to Executive board

Person Specification

- Qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA Accountant

- Extensive exposure and insight into negotiating contracts, Bids and Tenders

- Worked within a fast paced services environment that is both commercial & entrepreneurial

- Ability to identify revenue generation and familiar with pricing strategies
