Group Accountant

A Globally recognised International Retailer is actively recruiting talent to join their team. A newly created opportunity   has arisen within their Group Reporting team for a Group Accountant to work for this dynamic, ambitious globally recognised brand.

Reporting directly into the Group Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

Responsible for the monthly consolidation outcome, including ownership, management and continuous development of the close process.

Support the VP Global Reporting and Technical Accounting and Director Global Consolidations on ad hoc projects as they arise and assume ownership for outcomes.

In conjunction with the other reporting-focussed Group Accountants, responsible for the production and enhancement of reporting, ensuring that the information presented and explanations provided are accurate and consistent with information reported to the Board.

Assist with the preparation and review of sections of the statutory quarterly and annual financial statements and other periodic statements.

The ideal profile will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with strong experience in consolidation within a large organisation. You will have ideally reported under IFRS or US GAAP and have come from an international organisation.
