FINANCE MANAGER / COMPANY ACCOUNTANT
Our client, a small distribution company, part of an European group seeks an all-round Finance Manager/Company Accountant to control all accounting and financial matters.
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly organised and self-motivated, who can adopt routine procedures and has an attention for detail. The Company Accountant will principally be in charge of managing the Company's Accounts.
The Duties will include:
*Purchase Ledger (supplier payments)
*Sales Ledger (customer invoicing)
*Credit Control
*Bank Reconciliations
*Recording and Control of Petty Cash and Expenses
*VAT Returns
*Production of Monthly Management Accounts to deadlines.
*Production of Year End Accounts
*Liaison with Bank, HMRC, Auditors etc.
*Responsibility for various administration tasks within the business
Candidates will require experience in the use of computer systems, ideally, but not essentially, Sage Line 50 You must be competent in the use of MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
