IFRS 15 Consultant

Robert Half Management Resources is supporting a Plc in the South West with its IFRS 15 transformation programme.

We are required to deploy an IFRS 15 technical accounting solution.

You will have Financial Management, Operations & Transformation responsibility:

To develop detailed accounting design documents to incorporate accounting systems into the Group technical solution that supports the adoption of IFRS 15

To complete detailed analysis of existing accounting and billing systems to ensure that current and future requirements are incorporated into the Group technical solution

To maintain accurate accounting records which comply with all relevant legislation/policy.

To provide meaningful financial management information/reporting and forecasting to meet the needs of the key stakeholders and to ensure financial internal control.

To support the testing and implementation of the Group technical solution within the operational environment.

To work closely with the IFRS 15 project team to ensure that requirements are incorporated into the Group technical solution.

To be the key point of contact between project and operational teams

To manage process changes associated with the adoption of IFRS 15

To develop understanding of complex accounting systems

To manage the delivery change within a pressured operational environment including Stakeholder management across multiple functions and geographic locations

Ideally you will have experience of both SAP and Hyperion

The start date is for ASAP. The day rate will be between £400 and £600, dependent on experience.
