Finance Manager

Partner Financial is working with a Global Technology Business in Central London who have diversified and developed their service offering over the years, creating one the strongest brands in the sector for quality and innovation.

Due to an internal move, there is a requirement for an Interim Finance Manager to support one of the largest and most well-established divisions within the group. The role will be supporting and developing a small team of accountants, and working in partnership with Senior Stakeholders and Business Unit Heads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing, developing and reviewing the work of a small finance team;
• Monthly analysis of Capital Expenditure: actual vs budget/forecast of various projects;
• Working in partnership with the business units to ensure submissions (e.g forecasts) are a prepared accurately and within deadlines;
• Owning the CAPEX approval process, responding to spend requests and ensuring all authorisations are validated;
• Ad-hoc analysis and reporting to senior management.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A Qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge, including IFRS (ACA, ACCA) ;
• Strong FP&A and business partnering experience, ideally gained within a large listed entity with a volumes of CAPEX;
• Experience in managing and developing a team;
• Ability to drive and influence commercial solutions reinforced by insight, intellect and drive;
• Excellent IT skills, including Excel, and the ability to learn new IT systems and processes;
• Strong communication skills both written and oral.
