My client has recently been through a process of upskilling and reorganising its finance function and is seeking a high calibre financial analyst to join the FP&A team.

The primary responsibilities for this role include support in managing the short and medium term cash flow processes, providing analytical support and business insight, evaluating business opportunities/risks, assisting and driving finance transformation and establishing key relationships with finance and non-finance personnel.

The role is diverse and varied and will involve working with the wider finance and business community. A flexible approach and the ability to embrace change within a dynamic and challenging work environment are crucial.

• The role comprises of the following key responsibilities:
• Analyse current and past trends in short and medium term cash flow
• Monitor KPI's, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances
• Analyse complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
• Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives
• Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of weekly and monthly financial reports
• Assist the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting and Modelling tools and reports
• Work with a Business Planning teams to drive enhancements to tools and reporting
• The right candidate will play a key role in providing financial analysis and insight into the performance of the business, including reports to the Group Executive Committee

Key experience and skills
-Part or recently Qualified Accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
-Previous experience in an analytical finance role
-Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organised
-Capable to work within a team, but also able to deliver work on own merit
-Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
-Demonstrate the ability to interact with Senior leadership both finance and non-finance
