A household name and market leader, my client operate within the FMCG / retail environment and due to internal promotion following a period of sustained growth, are looking to recruit a Business Partner into the Commercial Finance Team. Key responsibilities will include:
• Business partnering the sales teams and marketing teams covering high profile brands
• Providing financial and commercial decision support and insight to drive the business forwards in these areas, in terms of volume and profit contribution
• Evaluation of individual customer business plans
• Evaluation of NPD and other product proposals
• Financial support in key commercial planning sessions – Customer business reviews and Brand operational board meetings
• Ensure financial commitments from sales and marketing are pre evaluated and pre approved in line with the company’s compliance policy
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting for Head of Commercial Finance
• Timely decision support and challenge provided to the commercial teams on a day to day basis
• Corporate KPI and functional target tracking for the UK branded business unit
